Considering the large amount of Lebanese expats around the world, I consider myself lucky I was able to move to a country where at least arabic is the first language.
Trying to feel close to home is I believe every expat’s desire. As a matter of fact, ever since I moved to Dubai, I was on a mission: finding the best Lebanese cuisine in town.
I have to admit, the options are abundant. Yet, not every restaurant succeed in bringing “Home” to Dubai.
My latest discovery was Awani in JBR.
The atmosphere, the decor, followed by the generous hospitality and mouth-watering and diverse plates, left me speechless.
I can’t wait to go back!
We left that night with a longing for everything Levantine.
