I’ve been hesitant to blog about my engagement and wedding preparations, But now that we have hit the 10-month mark of being happily engaged, I’m eager to share my experience with all of you, especially now as I embark on the path of “wedding planning”. With the venue officially booked, the countdown has commenced! This is a new beginning and things are bound to change for the better, and you will be with me at every junction.
We have a little less than a year to go, and I have come to know the different sides of wedding planning and what it entails. Whether it is related to beauty, fashion, fitness or dealing with bridal suppliers, you can hear all the tidbits right here on my blog.
One important detail I should mention is that I will be planning a full-scale wedding in Lebanon, while living and working in Dubai! Of course, my mother will help me with the process, but I want my wedding to reflect my personal touch, so I will be involved in every detail.
Long distance planning is more common now, especially with destination weddings, so I hope my experiences and tips will help you. Needless to say, I am super excited! I have played the role of bridesmaid many times to the important ladies in my life when they became beautiful brides , and I have enjoyed every moment as I was able to help them make their day better.
Needless to say, I am super excited and ready to roll!
Wedding planning was always my passion. But I have to admit, now that I am the center of attention, it is a little bit overwhelming.
Still, I want to soak in every single moment of that day and enjoy it the way it was meant to be. To all those who know me, oh too well, I promise, I will try not to be a bridezilla. I have been a dreamer all my life, I dream of dreams, things I want to achieve, people I want to meet, relations I would like to have… I dream big!
Finally, today, I know I am in love when I can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than my dreams, as Dr. Seuss once wrote.
